Job Description
🚀 About the Role:
Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the future of Defence infrastructure? 💪 Join our Engineering team where you’ll ensure the replacement and refurbishment of plant and equipment meets modern standards and regulations. 🏗⚙️
🔎 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage requirements and acceptance processes across multi-discipline projects
- Produce and maintain detailed requirement specifications 📑
- Lead interface management between engineering teams 🔄
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process systems 🔌🛠
- Utilise requirements management software effectively 💻
- Support Project Engineers and Project Managers with expert guidance 🤝
- Conduct regular project governance reviews 🔍
- Assess technical deliverables from consultants and contractors 📝

Qualifications
🎯 Essential Skills & Experience:
- Degree in a relevant Engineering or Scientific discipline
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (or working towards)
🌟 Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Exceptional attention to detail 👀
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively 🤝
- Experience in highly regulated industries 🔒
- Confident engaging with stakeholders of all levels 🗣
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously 📊
- Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering ⚙️🔩
- Experience with PLM systems (Windchill, Teamcenter) 🖥
- Skilled in IBM DOORs/Dimensions RM or similar tools 🗂

Umbrella Contractor or Permanent Staff position
The role would typically be expected to be conducted in a hybrid arrangement from Glasgow City Centre (3 days office, 2 days WFH).
