Temporary September 2026 - June 2027

Full Time – 37 hours per week

Up to £26.48 per hour plus holiday pay (dependant on experience and teaching qualification)

Ready to shape the next generation of skilled trade professionals? We are seeking a passionate Fabrication & Welding Lecturer to bring real-world industry expertise into our training workshops.

  • Deliver hands-on training to students advancing through Fabrication and Welding qualifications.
  • Ignite student potential by turning raw talent into industry-ready fabricators and coded welders.
  • Forge the future curriculum by directly influencing and enhancing the College's engineering provision.
  • Overcome learning roadblocks by offering top-tier, supportive teaching and assessment to every individual.
  • Be a master role model for students navigating workshop challenges to achieve career excellence.

You will…

  • Hold a teaching qualification or be working towards
  • Hold a level 3+ professional qualification in Fabrication & Welding
  • Have experience of teaching students/apprentices
  • Be well organised and able to manage your own workload
  • Hold an assessor’s award (Desirable)
