RES Learning Support Assistants

Various hours available on a casual basis starting August/September 2026

Working up to 36 weeks per year

(Term Time Only plus 1 training week)

£12.96 per hour plus holiday pay

Rotherham Education Services (RES) supply casual and temporary staffing to the RNN Group. The RNN Group consists of Rotherham, Dearne Valley and North Notts colleges.

The Role

You Will Have

  • Classroom Experience: Proven track record supporting students within an educational setting.
  • SEND Expertise: Solid understanding or experience with SEND, ALS, and EHCP frameworks.
  • Core Qualifications: GCSE Grade A*–C (9–4) in English and Maths, or the drive to work towards them.
  • Tech Savvy: Confident daily use of Microsoft and Google packages.
  • Key Traits: High reliability, excellent communication skills, and a flexible approach to changing classroom needs.
