ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a customer-focused and proactive Resales & Staircasing Officer to join our Sales Team.
In this rewarding role, you'll manage a varied caseload of shared ownership resales, staircasing transactions and ad hoc empty property disposals, ensuring customers receive an outstanding service throughout their homeownership journey. You'll act as the key point of contact for homeowners, guiding them through often complex processes while delivering an efficient, accurate and professional service.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
We're looking for a highly organised and customer-focused professional with experience of residential conveyancing and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You'll be confident managing a busy caseload of shared ownership resales and staircasing transactions, taking ownership from instruction through to completion while keeping customers informed every step of the way. You'll have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to explain complex processes clearly and professionally. Working collaboratively with colleagues, legal representatives and external partners, you'll coordinate lease amendments, support the disposal of void properties and ensure all transactions are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with relevant policies, legislation and best practice. Experience of shared ownership transactions and knowledge of housing legislation would be advantageous.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
