Research and Development Administrator
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and motivated individual to join our fast-paced Research & Development team at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support across a portfolio of research studies and departmental activities, including maintaining research databases and records, coordinating participant recruitment, appointments, meetings, and communications, supporting compliance and financial processes, and assisting with the day-to-day operation of the department.
The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and organizational ability, confidence working with confidential information and databases, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to contribute to the smooth delivery of NHS research and provide a professional and welcoming service to research participants, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Provide efficient administrative support to the Research & Development team.
- Maintain research databases and records.
- Coordinate participant referrals, appointments, and communications.
- Organize meetings and maintain documentation.
- Support research compliance.
- Produce routine reports.
- Process financial administration.
- Maintain equipment and stock records.
- Provide a professional and welcoming service to research participants, staff, and visitors.

Location
Surrey is a beautiful county lying just 30 minutes away from Central London and from the South Coast. Our historic market towns and bustling districts are enveloped in wonderful countryside, and our excellent road and rail networks bring the rest of the country within easy reach. For international travel, both Gatwick and Heathrow airports are nearby.
