Job Opportunity at Q5
Q5 is looking for undergraduates to join our team in London for an 8 week period from 28/6/27 - 20/8/27. These are in-person positions. If you will have graduated by this point, please take a look at our graduate internship opportunities on our website. The deadline for applications is 18/12/26. Please note that interviews will begin in January and will be ongoing over the following months until we have filled all positions.

Role: Research Analyst
As a Research Analyst, you'll gain real-world consulting experience in a supportive, collaborative environment. You'll work alongside experienced consultants on live client projects, within our Datahub team, and on internal initiatives—applying critical thinking, data-driven analysis, and understanding of Q5's leading edge suite of tools, to help organisations solve complex business challenges.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your consulting skills at an organisation known for its values, people focus, and innovative approach to transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support consulting teams by conducting quantitative and qualitative research, analysis, and synthesis
- Use data and Q5 tools to diagnose organisational challenges, test hypotheses, and support recommendations
- Clean, structure, and interpret data using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
- Assist in developing models and dashboards to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare and deliver insightful presentations, reports, and workshop materials
- Participate in stakeholder interviews and workshops
- Contribute to internal projects such as knowledge sharing, marketing, and thought leadership
- Attend training sessions and gain exposure to various methodologies and frameworks used in consulting

What You'll Gain

Requirements
- Undergraduates only - if you are a graduate, please look at the other opportunities on our website
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an ability to work with data to extract insights to improve business outcomes
- Comfortable using Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and/or data visualisation tools
- Effective communicator—able to convey technical or analytical information clearly to non-technical audiences
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Passionate about people, culture, and helping organisations thrive
