ABOUT ZOMP
ZOMP spun out from the University of Cambridge. We have built the world’s first 3D imaging cytometer to deliver unmatched label-free analysis for use in cell therapy manufacturing.
YOUR ROLE
As a critical member of the team, your role is to support the development of product hardware and software to enable the commercial launch of our label-free cell analyser, including:
- Developing scientific hardware for life science tools.
- Designing electrical circuits and PCBs, as well as embedded devices, to power and control instrumentation.
- Understanding or experience in instrument control, automation, or robotics is ideal, especially using Python.
- Provide practical support for ongoing R&D projects, assisting scientists with experimental execution and data gathering.
- Contribute ideas and observations based on hands-on experience with the technology and biological applications.

QUALIFICATIONS
Hold a PhD or Masters in engineering, physics, or similar.

This job is suitable for candidates who have received a degree-level qualification and spent 2 to 4 years in an industrial setting solving a wide range of R&D problems.
