About the Role

Deliver high quality administrative coordination across the Research and Innovation Office, facilitating a broad range of research and knowledge exchange activities for staff and students and servicing key meetings and groups
Act as an initial point of contact for students, staff and visitors, ensuring enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently
Coordinate the administration of the University's ethics processes, working closely with the Chair and members of the Ethics Committee
Assist with the preparation, submission and monitoring of research governance requirements, financial records and related activities
Build effective relationships with external organisations, partners and collaborators to facilitate current and future research activities and events
Contribute to the development and enhancement of administrative processes, systems and ways of working across the Research and Innovation team

About You

An organised, proactive and motivated individual with an interest in developing a career in administration. You will enjoy managing a varied workload, maintaining efficient processes, delivering excellent customer service and contributing to a professional working environment
Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy when handling a range of administrative tasks
A positive team player who can work effectively with colleagues while also taking ownership of allocated responsibilities and initiatives
A confident communicator who can establish effective working relationships with colleagues, students and external organisations
Eager to develop administrative experience within a higher education or research environment, with a willingness to learn new systems, processes and ways of working
Comfortable using digital systems and technology to manage information, coordinate activities and maintain accurate records
