Job Title: Research Artificial Intelligence (AI) Adoption Specialist

Location: London

About the Role

The Research Division is actively investing in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance its analytical capabilities and deliver cutting-edge insights to clients. We are seeking a highly motivated AI Transformation Specialist to join our team. This role is needed to support the strategic adoption and implementation of AI across our research functions.

Working closely with the AI Transformation Lead, this position will involve identifying opportunities for AI application, supporting the development of AI solutions, and facilitating the integration of AI tools into the day-to-day workflows of research analysts. This role offers a unique opportunity for an individual with a strong foundation in AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) and an understanding of financial research to contribute directly to the division's innovation agenda.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess AI opportunities across Research workflows, working with analysts and business stakeholders to prioritise use cases that improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Support AI solution development by partnering with our technology partners, control functions and vendors on prototype design, testing, requirements definition and model refinement
  • Drive pilot implementation and user adoption through user acceptance testing, feedback gathering, training materials and communication between technical teams and end-users
  • Track AI/ML market developments, particularly in financial research and natural language processing, and evaluate relevant tools, vendors and platforms
  • Prepare documentation and stakeholder updates covering AI use cases, methodologies, project progress, outcomes and recommendations

Your Skills and Experience

  • Relevant academic background in computer science, data science, machine learning, engineering or a related discipline or equivalent qualification and/or work experience
  • Professional experience in data, consulting, business analysis or technology roles, ideally including hands-on involvement in AI/ML or data science initiatives
  • Strong technical foundation in AI/ML concepts, data analysis and programming languages such as Python with familiarity and visualisation tools
  • Ability to translate business needs and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, including conducting training programs
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail, adaptability and the ability to manage multiple tasks and supporting as part of a team
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
