Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support research activities by collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data to contribute to high-quality research outcomes. The successful candidate will collaborate with researchers and cross-functional teams to assist in planning and executing research projects, conducting literature reviews, maintaining research documentation, and ensuring compliance with established research methodologies and ethical standards.
The Research Assistant will assist in designing research protocols, gathering quantitative and qualitative data from various sources, preparing datasets for analysis, and verifying data accuracy and completeness. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting background research
- Summarizing findings
- Preparing reports, presentations, and research documentation
- Supporting the development of publications, proposals, and project deliverables
- Maintaining research databases
- Coordinating project activities
- Monitoring project timelines
- Contributing to continuous process improvements

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Science, Social Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Healthcare, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies, data collection techniques, and analytical approaches.
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Familiarity with literature review techniques and academic research databases.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SPSS, R, Python, or similar analytical software.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and presenting research findings.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple research tasks simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and research integrity.
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools is an advantage.
- Understanding of research ethics, documentation standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning and supporting innovative research initiatives.
