The Research Assistant role at Nebula is a part-time hybrid position based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with some flexibility for working from home. In this role, the Research Assistant will gather and analyze information on technical and service-based businesses, their markets, competitors, and customer needs to support marketing strategy and content development.

Day-to-Day Tasks

  • Conducting structured and desk research
  • Compiling data into clear summaries
  • Supporting the preparation of case studies and value propositions
  • Contributing to reports and presentations

The Research Assistant will collaborate closely with consultants and content specialists, communicate findings in a clear, concise manner, and help maintain organized research databases and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Strong Research and Data Analysis skills to collect, interpret, and present information in a useful format.
  • Solid Analytical Skills to evaluate complex information, identify patterns, and generate insights that support marketing decisions.
  • Effective Communication skills to summarize findings clearly and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Laboratory Skills (where relevant to technical or scientific projects) including accurate data recording and attention to detail.
  • Relevant academic background in marketing, business, engineering, science, or related fields is beneficial.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, online research tools) is desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment is important.
  • Interest in technical, engineering, or specialist service sectors and willingness to learn new domains is an advantage.
