Overview

Montagu Evans is a UK property consultancy that helps clients unlock value from complexity, because that’s where the most meaningful opportunities live.

Our purpose is to bring clarity, creativity, and conviction to the complex. We are experts who collaborate to create value, not just preserve it and our team is built for impact, not oversight.

We specialise in high-value, complex assets across the property lifecycle, where political, technical or commercial challenges demand a joined-up approach.

The Team/Department

This role is to sit within Research & Insight, working closely with Jon Neale, who leads the team. It provides market-leading research, analysis and data to the business and its clients. The topic matter can range from the data-driven analysis of individual property markets or the demographics of particular places to the impact of global megatrends and economics on the sectors we work in. We aim to provide our stakeholders, clients and the wider market with original insight that helps guide and shape business decisions and draws attention to Montagu Evans’ offer, as well as providing bespoke, paid-for research and analysis on specific topics.

Role Overview

Montagu Evans is seeking a creative and insightful research associate to lead the production of our regular outputs across key property sectors. The successful candidate would work with the head of research on devising and executing our research programme, with responsibilities ranging from data collection and analysis through to content delivery. There would be opportunities to present both internally and externally and become more involved in client-facing activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
