The Role
This role sits in YouGov’s Client Services team that includes our Data Services and Custom teams. The team consists of sector specialists supported by skilled quantitative analytics researchers, combining research expertise with in-depth sector knowledge to help clients identify, analyse and understand their markets. The team delivers both tracking and adhoc studies across consumer and B2B, research, for well-known clients. You'll work closely with clients — and with colleagues across Insight, Account Management and New Business — to design and deliver research that hits the brief, is clear and unbiased, and stands up to scrutiny, backed by YouGov's reputation and media presence. You'll be involved in every stage of a project, from inception to delivery, and you'll get to present data back to clients directly rather than working behind the scenes.
What will I be doing day-to-day?
- Assisting and designing with questionnaire design and reporting insight across projects, ensuring they meet objectives and reflect best research practice
- Managing projects end-to-end: from inception, through fieldwork monitoring and swift issue resolution, to delivering results and clearly communicating what the research shows — including taking clients through Crunch, our online data tool
- Liaising with clients and collaborators on all day-to-day aspects of projects, including reviewing client-created materials (e.g. press releases, reports) to ensure results are accurately reported and stand up to external scrutiny
- Working with senior researchers on larger, high-profile quantitative and global projects, and supporting other researchers on Insight projects across a range of sectors and specialisms
- Supporting commercial teams on fast-turnaround client requests — assessing feasibility, helping with quotes, and assisting with client calls or pitches
- Learning and using YouGov's technical systems, including logging client activity, recording project communications, and scripting surveys to deliver results to clients

Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
