Salary
Grade 7: £39,424 - £47,779 per annum, including Oxford University Weighting (OUW)

Description
We are seeking a Research Facilitator to join the Research Office at the Department of Engineering Science. The Research Office facilitates finding and applying for research funding at all career levels. It provides professional support to secure grants and contracts, considers all resources required for research projects and collaborates closely with our partners to ensure seamless support throughout.
You will help academics turn their ideas into fully articulated and costed research proposals. You will identify suitable funding opportunities for potential projects; coordinate input from appropriate sources; give advice on the detailed presentation of the proposal; and provide analysis to allow the assessment of fit to departmental strategy and policy.

Qualifications and Skills
- Educated to degree level in a science discipline
- Previous experience of research management or research application management
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent standard of written English, sufficient to draft and edit text for grant proposals
