About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Post-Doctoral Trial Manager for a randomised controlled trial to evaluate the effectiveness of the Multimodal Approach to Preventing Suicide in Schools (MAPSS) intervention for Year 9 students in 36 schools across England. The role will involve leading day-to-day trial administration, participant recruitment, liaison with schools, and quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis with young people and professionals.

Tasks will include:
- Developing and conducting collaborative research projects
- Extending, transforming and applying knowledge acquired from scholarship to research and appropriate external activities
- Making presentations at conferences, or exhibiting work in other appropriate events
- Writing up research work for publication
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- A PhD (or near completion) in either Psychology or a related discipline, or equivalent research experience
- Ability to run empirical research independently
- Experience of undertaking and managing quantitative and qualitative data collection, storage, and analysis, including the use of psychometrically validated measures
Job Details:
- Fixed term for 44 months, beginning January 2027
