Research & Insights Consultant
£400 - £450 PER DAY OUTSIDE IR35
HYBRID (2-3 DAYS PW IN THE OFFICE - LONDON)

This is an opportunity to join a leading global social-first creative and marketing agency, partnering with some of the world's best-known consumer and financial services brands. The business specialises in creating and measuring high-impact social media campaigns, helping global organisations understand content performance, audience behaviour and campaign effectiveness through data-driven insights.
The Role:
As a Research & Insights Consultant, you will provide senior-level leadership across the agency's research and insight function, ensuring high-quality strategic outputs for a portfolio of global clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the production of monthly reporting and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring all outputs are accurate, insightful and client-ready.
- Quality assuring reports and recommendations produced by junior researchers and analysts.
- Turning complex social media and campaign performance data into clear, actionable commercial recommendations.
- Presenting insights, findings and strategic recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
- Providing consultancy on social media performance, audience behaviour and campaign effectiveness.
- Working with social listening and social intelligence data to identify trends, opportunities and competitor activity.
- Supporting client services teams by answering research and measurement queries and providing strategic guidance.
- Developing insight-led business cases, case studies and supporting materials for client proposals.
- Ensuring reporting is delivered to a consistently high standard while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced agency environment.

Your Skills and Experience:
The successful Research & Insights Consultant will have:
- Extensive experience delivering research, insight and measurement projects within a social-first, media or agency environment.
- Strong experience producing and presenting monthly reporting and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for senior stakeholders.
- Deep expertise in social listening, social intelligence and social media measurement.
- Hands-on experience using platforms such as Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Pulsar, Emplifi or similar social analytics tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate large datasets, identify trends and develop actionable recommendations.
- Experience transforming complex analysis into engaging client-ready presentations and insight-led storytelling.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to present findings and recommendations to senior client audiences.
- Experience overseeing the quality assurance of reporting and mentoring junior researchers or analysts.
- Previous experience delivering consumer research, campaign effectiveness or social strategy projects.
