About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Research and Intelligence Manager to join our Chief Executive’s Office and lead a team of Senior and Data Analysts.
You will provide high-quality economic insight, intelligence, and evidence to support strategic decision-making, policy development, investment, and economic growth across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Working at a strategic level, you will use your expertise in economic modelling, research, business case development, and project appraisal to help ensure our policies, plans, and projects deliver results and value for money. You will also support the evidence base underpinning the Oxford-Cambridge Growth Corridor.
What you'll be doing
- Lead high-quality economic research, analysis, and intelligence to inform policy, strategy, and investment decisions.
- Develop and use economic forecasting and modelling to understand trends and future growth scenarios.
- Provide assurance and analytical support on business cases, projects, and programmes.
- Build effective partnerships across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, the Oxford-Cambridge Growth Corridor, and wider networks.

About You
- A degree with a significant economics component, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of economic modelling, research design, and statistical analysis.
- Experience delivering high-quality economic analysis in a policy-facing environment.
You will also have strong technical skills, including experience with statistical and analytical tools such as R, Python, Excel, and Power BI, as well as GIS tools such as ArcGIS or QGIS. You will be confident translating complex analysis into clear messages that influence decisions and priorities.
