Research Manager in Brand Health Tracking
As a Research Manager in Brand Health Tracking at Ipsos, you will play a key role in leading and delivering our largest global brand health measurement programme led out of the UK. Due to a recent win, you will be joining at the inception stage, giving you the chance to make your mark on an innovative global programme covering over 20 markets, and giving you exposure to the latest technology in data collection and data delivery processes.
In this role, you will have direct client contact and will contribute to landing the new programme’s insights tools within the client’s local and global organisations. You will leverage your expertise in research methodologies, data analysis, and project management to guide junior executives and offshore teams, manage client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the programme.
Day to day
These are the types of things you can expect to be doing during your day to day, although as Ipsos is a dynamic organisation, this may vary as different opportunities arise:
- Manage the end-to-end research processes of a large global tracking programme across multiple markets.
- Work as part of a large team of onshore and offshore team members and be directly responsible for getting client sign-off on research materials, managing script checking, translations, fieldwork launch, overseeing data quality protocols, and using automated tools to build dashboard and PowerPoint reports.
- Take full ownership of specific client deliverables, building strong client relationships, delivering and supporting on client engagement sessions (training, debriefs etc), supported by talented directors so you can further develop your client servicing skills.
- Work alongside internal operations teams to get the best data for our clients. Provide them with clear specifications and instructions, and ensure that these are met.
- Supervise and provide guidance to more junior members of the team, including graduates.
- Review and ensure the quality of all project materials and deliverables, including questionnaires, data files, dashboards, reports, and presentations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
