Job Description
This role is focused on Curinos’ proprietary digital experience benchmarking and research products, which help financial services clients understand how their digital platforms compare with peers and fintechs across customer journeys, features and functionality. Working with leading financial institutions, you will evaluate digital experiences, identify emerging trends and translate evidence into strategic insight that helps senior leaders and digital product owners make informed decisions about experience transformation and investment priorities.
As Research Manager, you will lead end-to-end research programmes and a portfolio of client relationships. You will combine hands-on digital experience research with programme management, insight development and people leadership, ensuring that Curinos’ research is rigorous, timely, commercially relevant and clearly communicated. You will also contribute to the evolution of our proprietary data intelligence platform, research methodologies and market perspectives.
Responsibilities

- Manage research plans, milestones, resources, risks and dependencies across multiple concurrent programmes, maintaining clear and visible progress reporting
- Direct the collection, validation and analysis of qualitative and experience data, including hands-on review of live digital journeys and research conducted with panel participants or account holders
- Ensure the ongoing market relevance and integrity of platform-based benchmarking datasets
- Apply benchmarking datasets and wider market evidence to identify experience trends, capability gaps, competitive dynamics and implications for client strategy
- Develop clear, evidence-led points of view, recommendations, executive reports and presentations tailored to client priorities and decision-making needs
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, lead insight discussions and present confidently to senior audiences
- Coach and develop analysts and other junior colleagues, setting clear expectations and maintaining high standards for research quality, analytical reasoning and communication
- Maintain effective research governance, including consistent methodologies, documentation, quality controls and on-time delivery
- Partner with client success, operations, commercial and subject-matter experts to improve the proprietary platform, research frameworks and client deliverables
- Support client onboarding, demonstrations, proposals and renewal activity, and identify opportunities to extend the value Curinos delivery
- Maintain strong awareness of digital banking, fintech, customer experience, technology and regulatory developments, and apply relevant context to research and recommendations
- Contribute to thought leadership, market updates and other content that strengthens Curinos’ digital experience proposition

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
