Research Manager Role

Quantitative Research
Location: London – Hybrid
Salary: from £40,000 - £49,000

Are you an experienced quantitative researcher looking for a role that offers genuine variety, strategic client work, and the opportunity to shape both projects and people?

We are looking for a Research Manager to join an award-winning insights consultancy. You will lead a diverse portfolio of research projects, and work with a broad mix of clients, delivering bespoke research programmes that solve real commercial challenges.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on research delivery with client leadership, commercial responsibility, and mentoring more junior researchers.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading and designing multiple quantitative research projects from proposal through to delivery
  • Managing client relationships and acting as the main point of contact across a portfolio of accounts
  • Overseeing fieldwork, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Turning complex data into clear, commercially focused insights and presentations
  • Supporting business development through proposals and existing client growth
  • Coaching and developing junior team members while helping shape team culture

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
