Band 7 Research Nurse – Gynae Units, Chelsea
Full-time is preferred but will consider part-time. Please indicate this clearly in your supporting statement.
About the Role
The Gynae Unit at the Royal Marsden is looking for an experienced research nurse to join our team. We have a large research portfolio and are looking for someone who is motivated with an enthusiastic approach to work.
Key Responsibilities
- Management, Administration, and Facilitation of Research Projects: In accordance with ICH-GCP and Research Governance Guidelines.
- Patient Engagement: Screen, recruit, support, and be an advocate for patients on cutting-edge commercial, RMH sponsored, and observational studies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritize, and a flexible working approach.
- Oncology Experience: Oncology experience in Gynae cancer is highly desirable, and research experience is an essential requirement.
- Support and Education: Support more junior research nurses, assisting them to develop their clinical research skills through education and training.
- Clinical Trials Coordination: Take responsibility for the coordination and management of a clinical research portfolio, collaborating with key personnel to ensure continued care and support for patients involved in clinical trials.
