Role Description
The Research Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role is responsible for designing, coordinating, and optimizing operational processes that support Asriel’s research and frontier-technology initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include managing research programs and timelines, tracking progress and outcomes, and ensuring smooth collaboration across internal teams and external partners.

The Research Operations Manager will establish and maintain documentation, workflows, and reporting mechanisms, and will analyze data to improve efficiency and impact. The role also involves communicating findings and recommendations to leadership, streamlining resource allocation, and maintaining high standards in research operations across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make evidence-based decisions.
- Proven experience in operations management, with a track record of building and improving processes in research or technology-focused environments.
- Program management capabilities, including planning, prioritizing, and coordinating multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
- Experience in research environments, with familiarity in structuring research projects, methodologies, and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly, collaborate across diverse teams, and engage external partners.
- Relevant academic background in a scientific, engineering, business, or related discipline; advanced degree is beneficial but not required.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous contexts with frontier technologies and emerging fields.
- Demonstrated ability to use modern productivity, project management, and data tools to support operations and reporting.
