Exciting Opportunity at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the PRIME-IF research team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust, working collaboratively with academic and third sector partners.
PRIME-IF is a 30-month National Institute for Health and Care Research for Patient Benefit (NIHR RfPB) funded project developing and evaluating a personalised rehabilitation intervention for people living with intestinal failure receiving home parenteral support. The post holder will play a central role in leading the co-adaptation, evaluation, and refinement of the intervention.
About the Role
The role will involve leading the day-to-day delivery of the PRIME-IF research study, including regulatory approval applications, intervention co-development, participant recruitment, outcomes assessment (quantitative evaluation), semi-structured interviews (qualitative evaluation), data management, and study coordination. The post holder will work closely with PPIE co-leads and patient groups, contribute to Study Management Group meetings, and establish links with national support organisations and charities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the successful implementation of the PRIME-IF project against agreed project plans, to time and within constraints.
- Lead project delivery, allocating tasks as appropriate, identifying risks, issues and dependencies, considering best practice and current options, and making recommendations in the best interest of the project.
- Produce and maintain the formal documentation required throughout the project lifecycle including policies and procedures, and detailed project plan(s).
- Manage project performance in respect of delivery of key project milestones/deliverables, by establishing formal reporting arrangements.
- Lead an intervention co-development work package and the delivery of a pilot randomised controlled trial.
- Liaise closely with partners and stakeholders to provide progress and financial reports and forecasts, in compliance with REC and NIHR reporting requirements.
