NIHR Clinical Research Facility: Oxford Health (CRF) Secondment Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Recruitment Facilitator to join the NIHR Clinical Research Facility: Oxford Health (CRF) on a secondment basis. This role provides specialist recruitment expertise to support the delivery of complex commercial clinical research studies, including early-phase research.

Working closely with research and clinical teams, you will lead on recruitment feasibility, participant recruitment planning, and the monitoring of recruitment activity throughout the study lifecycle. Your expertise will help ensure studies are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with CRF operational standards and Trust research governance requirements.

A key aspect of the role is embedding recruitment expertise at the earliest stages of study set-up, identifying potential recruitment risks, and implementing effective strategies to support successful study delivery. You will contribute to study viability by providing assurance around recruitment capacity, participant engagement, and recruitment performance, helping to minimise delays and support achievement of study targets.

Core Hours

9am-5pm Monday-Friday, with at least 3 days a week working on site at NIHR Clinical Research Facility: Oxford Health (Warneford Hospital)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment feasibility assessments and participant recruitment planning for commercial and early-phase studies.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to support study delivery.
  • Monitor recruitment activity, identify risks, and recommend solutions to maintain study timelines.
  • Build strong working relationships with research, clinical, and operational teams.
  • Ensure recruitment approaches are patient-centred and support a positive participant experience.
  • Contribute to CRF governance through robust recruitment oversight and reporting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
