Researcher / Interviewer – Qualitative Research Project
FRH Consultants Limited | Remote (UK) | £165 per day | September–December 2026
FRH Consultants Limited is seeking a Researcher / Interviewer to support a proposed UK-wide qualitative research project within the accounting and audit sector.
The project is expected to run from September to December 2026 and will involve conducting semi-structured interviews with professionals from UK organisations and supporting the analysis and reporting of qualitative research findings.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct professional semi-structured online interviews
- Research and identify appropriate interview participants
- Support participant recruitment and engagement
- Review and anonymise interview transcripts
- Undertake qualitative coding and thematic analysis
- Identify themes, patterns and emerging findings
- Support preparation of interim and final research outputs
- Maintain accurate research records
- Maintain strict confidentiality and appropriate data-protection standards

About you
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong research, analytical and communication skills
- Excellent written English and attention to detail
- Confidence interviewing professional and senior stakeholders
- Ability to analyse and summarise qualitative evidence
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently within an agreed research methodology
Experience of qualitative research, semi-structured interviewing, thematic analysis or research reporting would be particularly valuable.
Candidates with backgrounds in social research, accounting, audit, finance, economics, business, public policy or related disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Applications from early-career researchers and recent graduates with strong academic research experience are also welcomed.
Rate: £165 per day

Important: This is a proposed project role and appointment is subject to FRH Consultants Limited being awarded the underlying contract.
