Researcher, Online Threat Intelligence Team
Thanks to continued growth, we are hiring for a Researcher to join our Online Threat Intelligence (OTI) team in London. As the Researcher you will conduct open-source intelligence research to support a complex threat intelligence programme.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Research and Information Gathering
- Gather information on individuals and groups posing a threat to our clients and their assets through open-source intelligence (OSINT) and social media intelligence (SOCMINT) analysis.
- When tasked, conduct research on specific topics to contribute to bespoke threat assessments.
- Research new sources of information and develop capabilities to collect and analyse information in support of the team’s mission.
Consulting Responsibilities
- Deliver clear and concise written analysis to contribute to the production of high-quality bespoke threat assessments.
- Communicate effectively to conduct peer review of intelligence outputs to support and enhance the quality of final deliverables.

Essential
- Practical knowledge of open-source intelligence collection and threat analysis
- Ability to prepare concise written reports with strong attention to detail
- Experience in directing, collecting and analysing information, including following leads, in order to produce timely and actionable intelligence.
Preferred
- Knowledge of additional languages preferable
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Open source intelligence qualifications preferable.
- Clear, committed and delivers on what is required in role and strives to exceed expectations. Shows drive and determination to achieve high standards.
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative context.
- Uses own knowledge and experience to make sound judgements.
- Seeks to deliver work of the highest quality.
- Excellent written communication.
