🎬 We’re Hiring: Researcher (Production)

Join HBS, a global leader in sports production and project management for international sporting events, and help bring world-class sports stories to life. As a Researcher, you'll work alongside our editorial and production teams, providing the research, planning and content support that underpins high-quality broadcast, digital and social media content.

Please note, this role requires a minimum of 3 days a week in the office in Central London and international travel (including long-term trips).

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Research players, teams, competitions and wider sporting stories to support editorial planning and content creation.
  • Prepare research briefs, interview notes and editorial documentation for productions across multiple platforms.
  • Support Producers throughout the production process, including content planning, scripting, post-production coordination and managing edits through to final delivery.
  • Log footage, identify key moments, storylines and editorial opportunities to support efficient editing workflows.
  • Fact-check scripts, graphics and editorial content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide editorial and research support during international sporting events, working closely with production teams in fast-paced environments.

📌 What makes a successful candidate

  • Previous experience in research, production, journalism, digital media or a related editorial environment.
  • Strong interest and knowledge of sport and sports storytelling.
  • Excellent research, writing and organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Confident working collaboratively with editorial, production and post-production teams.
  • Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel internationally for productions and events.
