RESEARCHER, BUSINESS HISTORY CHANNEL (PART TIME)

We Realise Potential in Your Story

Based in the heart of Shoreditch, we are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently on a quest to find a part time Researcher to join our Original Production team for our Business History Channel - Is this your next opportunity?

In Autumn / Winter 2026, Little Dot Studios will launch a new YouTube channel focusing on the history of business and money. It will be the third channel launched under a major new company initiative. The first channel, The Archaeologist’s Notebook, debuted in June 2026 and accumulated 500k views and 10k subscribers in its first month.

As the new channel’s Researcher, you will be responsible for providing our presenter and producers with all the story information and background facts they need to write scripts. You will deliver clear, concise, thoroughly researched, fact-checked briefs that draw on credible sources. You will be able to source suitable and clearable visual archive material and be able to identify where graphics might be needed in a video. Suitable candidates will have a working understanding of the history of business, economics and money and ideally, a formal education in the subject. You will be given the opportunity to come up with ideas for videos and write a small number of scripts yourself, providing a pathway for career development.

This role is ideal for a researcher who thrives at the intersection of scholarly detail and digital entertainment.

Please note that this role comes with an expectation of high in-office attendance and occasional weekend and evening working. This is a part time role, with flexibility on working pattern.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
