Role Description

The Research Innovation Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting data-driven investment and innovation initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Conducting market, sector, and competitor research
  • Analyzing emerging trends in entrepreneurship and investment
  • Preparing concise reports and insights for internal stakeholders
  • Helping identify promising ventures and investment opportunities
  • Assisting in refining AI-driven matching criteria
  • Supporting the documentation of research methodologies and findings
  • Collaborating with team members across functions to translate research outcomes into actionable recommendations that enhance Rayyan’s intelligent matchmaking capabilities

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and research skills, including the ability to gather, synthesize, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data
  • Familiarity with innovation ecosystems, startups, or venture capital, and interest in global investment and entrepreneurship trends
  • Comfort working with digital tools, data platforms, and AI-driven or technology-enabled solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly and concisely
  • Self-directed, organized, and able to manage tasks independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines
  • Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a degree program in business, economics, finance, data science, international relations, or a related field
  • Demonstrated curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and openness to learning in a fast-evolving, global context
