Reservations Agent – Copthorne Hotel Slough Windsor

About the Role

We are looking for a Reservations Agent to serve as the first point of contact for guests and stakeholders, delivering friendly and professional service. The role involves:

  • Entering correct and timely booking information into the Opera system
  • Operating with a selling mindset to maximise room sales and hotel revenue

  • Operational competency:

    • Be fully conversant with the Opera system
    • Adhere to departmental performance standards and procedures
    • Thoroughly gather and accurately log reservation details for both individual and group bookings
  • Subject matter expertise:

    • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge for seamless guest communication
    • Proactively identify and leverage sales opportunities to enhance revenue
  • Service excellence:

    • Understand and meet telephonic etiquette standards, ensuring timely, attentive call handling
  • Workplace skills:

    • Ensure tasks are completed on deadline
    • Showcase organisational efficiency and ability to multitask under pressure

Experience & Requirements

  • Experience with Opera system required
  • Strong attention to detail and timely execution
  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks in fast-paced environments
