Reservations & Sales Office Manager
As Reservations & Sales Office Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the pre-opening and launch of our breathtaking hotel. You will lead our Reservations & Sales Office, driving bedroom and event sales from initial enquiry through to booking, planning and operational handover, whilst ensuring every guest and client receives an exceptional experience from their very first interaction with Gotham.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Lead and manage the Reservations & Sales Office, ensuring consistently high standards of service, organisation and commercial performance
- Drive bedroom revenue and occupancy through proactive sales, upselling and effective management of enquiries and reservations
- Manage the full event sales journey, from initial enquiry and proposal through to conversion, planning and operational handover
- Maximise group and event opportunities across bedrooms, F&B, private hire and additional experiences
- Ensure all reservations, rates, availability, restrictions and booking information are accurate and commercially optimised
- Build strong relationships with guests, clients, corporate contacts and event organisers to encourage repeat and future business
- Work closely with Front Office, F&B and Operations to ensure all group, event, VIP and special occasion requirements are communicated and delivered seamlessly
- Aligning sales objective and targets with the Revenue manager and Business Development Manager.
- Ensure detailed and accurate handovers are provided to the operational teams ahead of all relevant arrivals and events
- Monitor and report on key commercial performance, including revenue, conversion, room nights, average rate and event performance
- Identify opportunities to develop packages, experiences and sales initiatives that enhance revenue and the guest experience
- Coach, develop and motivate the Reservations & Sales team, creating a culture of accountability, commercial awareness and exceptional guest service
- Achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction for both external and internal guests, building strong and lasting relationships with clients and partners
- Champion the Gotham way of life across every guest and client interaction
