Job Description
Portico is on the lookout for a sharp, proactive, people-focused Conference Services and Events Coordinator (Reservations & Events Coordinator) to join our elite team at a leading American multinational investment bank and financial services company in the heart of the City.

About the Role
As our Conference Services & Events Coordinator, you’ll be the engine behind all meeting and event bookings. Working closely with the Conference Services Supervisor, you’ll take full ownership of the reservations process — ensuring every request is handled promptly, accurately, and in line with our booking guidelines.

You’ll be the person who keeps the bigger picture in focus:

- Managing requests with precision and pace
- Building strong relationships with onsite vendors
- Ensuring every detail is communicated clearly and delivered flawlessly

Hours: 40 hours per week, 8.5 hours a day shifts between 08.00 - 18.30, Monday to Friday
Salary: £35,838 per annum
Qualifications
What you’ll bring to the team:
- A warm, friendly, and professional manner, with a genuine passion for delivering service excellence.
- A proactive, innovative mindset — someone who enjoys finding smart solutions and elevating the guest experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring every booking, communication, and coordination task is handled with precision.
- Previous experience in reservations within a 5-star hotel or high-end corporate environment — this is essential for success in the role.
- Familiarity with room reservations systems and event planning processes is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to build effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, and onsite vendors.
- A motivated, can-do attitude, with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, high expectation environment.
