Reservations and Operations Manager
Grandeur Property offer a curated collection of high-end homes for family getaways, short breaks and corporate stays in Dorset. Grandeur takes care of everything, from guest bookings to property management, ensuring the highest level of service for both owners and guests.
We’re looking for a Reservations and Operations Manager to coordinate the smooth day-to-day operations of the property portfolio while delivering accurate, responsive reservation support. The role connects property readiness, maintenance, compliance, guest needs, owner communication and corporate or mid-term stay sales.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into management. Leading a small team, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day success of the business while developing valuable leadership and operational management experience.
Responsibilities
Property Operations
- Coordinate the day-to-day running of the property portfolio, ensuring properties are maintained, compliant and guest-ready.
- Manage maintenance, contractor relationships and operational service providers.
- Monitor property standards and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.
Reservations and Occupancy
- Oversee reservations and booking administration, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Support occupancy growth through effective management of enquiries, pricing opportunities and extended stays.

Corporate Business Development
- Develop relationships with corporate clients and identify opportunities for repeat and long-term bookings.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective business opportunities.
Customer Service and Owner Relationships
- Provide exceptional service to guests, clients and property owners.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Leadership and Commercial Performance
- Lead and support a small team, providing guidance and direction on day-to-day activities.
- Work with colleagues to maximise revenue, occupancy and owner satisfaction.
Compliance and Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance requirements are met and records are accurately maintained.
- Identify and implement improvements to operational processes and service delivery.
Experience and skills required
- Experience in property operations, reservations, hospitality, travel, accommodation, facilities coordination or a comparable service environment is desirable.
- Commercial awareness, including an understanding of occupancy, pricing and the value of repeat business.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing operational and booking priorities through to completion.
- Clear and confident written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
- Practical judgement, calm problem solving and appropriate escalation.
- Able to work collaboratively while taking ownership of assigned actions.
- Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers or multiple live customer requests is desirable.
- Experience handling corporate, contractor, relocation or extended-stay enquiries is advantageous.
- Suitable compliance, health and safety or property-related training is advantageous and may be provided where required.
