Opportunity
Pulse Doctors is working with a leading independent healthcare provider on a permanent Resident Doctor vacancy within an inpatient oncology unit in central London. You'll deliver high-quality, patient-centred cancer care within one of London's most respected private oncology services, working closely with Consultant Oncologists and the wider multidisciplinary team. The hospital is internationally recognised for world-leading cancer diagnostics and treatment, with access to advanced oncology services, cutting-edge therapies and state-of-the-art facilities. It's a consultant-led service that empowers its Resident Doctors, so the role can grow as far as you want to take it.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day inpatient medical management, including clerking planned and unplanned admissions
- Undertake daily ward rounds and lead on routine clinical reviews
- Manage acutely unwell patients, respond to medical emergencies and contribute to end-of-life care as required
- Support continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient pathways in partnership with the multidisciplinary team
- Work directly alongside internationally recognised Haematology and Oncology consultants and professors
- Get involved in audits, QI projects, clinical governance and MDT meetings

Essential Criteria to Apply
- Full GMC registration with a Licence to Practise in the UK
- Full MRCP qualification
- Completion of Foundation training plus IMT-2 / CMT-2 / ST3+ level or equivalent experience
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) managing oncology patients
- A passion for teamwork and patient-focused care, with the ability to build and share best practice
- A desire to develop within the role as cancer services grow
