Opportunity
Pulse Doctors is working with a leading independent healthcare provider on a permanent Resident Doctor vacancy within a specialist outpatient oncology service in central London. You'll collaborate closely with world-class consultants, oncology nurses and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional, patient-centred care. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop your oncology expertise in a state-of-the-art private outpatient setting that combines advanced technology, research innovation and a strong focus on clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical cover to the outpatient chemotherapy day unit
- Check outpatient prescriptions and protocols and approve medication
- Medically assess patients receiving chemotherapy treatment and manage any emergencies that arise, with guidance from the consultant in charge
- Work within a team of oncology specialists to develop personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and diagnosis
- Deliver an integrative approach to cancer care that supports patients' physical, emotional and spiritual needs in the outpatient setting
- Build strong relationships with a large pool of outpatients and work closely with world-renowned experts in the field

Essential Criteria to Apply
- Full GMC registration with a Licence to Practise in the UK
- Full MRCP qualification
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) managing oncology patients
- A commitment to teamwork, compassionate care and delivering a first-class patient experience
- Motivation to develop within the role as cancer services continue to expand
What's on Offer for You?
- Salary of £78,000 to £87,000, depending on experience
- Permanent contract, part-time or full-time
- Weekdays only, with a choice of 8am to 6pm or 10am to 8pm shifts
