Resident Experience Manager
Cobalt is recruiting a Resident Experience Manager for a large-scale residential development. This is an on-site role combining resident engagement, events, digital marketing and operational support, with genuine ownership over how residents experience their homes and wider community.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Resident Experience Manager will work closely with the leasing, front-of-house and operational teams, making this a varied opportunity for someone who enjoys combining people-focused responsibilities with creative and commercial projects.
The organisation
Our client is an established operator within the professionally managed residential sector, focused on creating a positive resident experience.
You’ll work across resident engagement, leasing, marketing and operations, giving you broad exposure while taking ownership of events, digital content and initiatives that improve the resident experience.
The role and responsibilities
As Resident Experience Manager, you will be responsible for building resident engagement and supporting the day-to-day experience across the development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering resident events and community initiatives within an agreed annual budget.
- Managing social media channels, including content planning, posting schedules and community engagement.
- Creating content that showcases the development, lifestyle and resident experience.
- Acting as an on-site marketing lead and supporting consistent brand representation across digital, social and physical channels.
- Managing resident communications, queries, maintenance requests and complaints professionally.
- Leading resident surveys, reviewing feedback and working with the General Manager to implement improvements.
- Supporting the front-of-house team to provide a welcoming experience for residents, visitors and prospective residents.
- Supporting move-ins, move-outs, inspections and deposit processes when required.
- Working alongside the Leasing Manager to review enquiries, conversions and prospect feedback.
- Supporting in-person and virtual property viewings when required.
- Developing partnerships and managing relationships with third parties.
- Producing monthly reporting on events, community performance and resident engagement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
