Summary
This is a 3-4 month contract role with a local authority, aimed at leading and managing the Tenant Engagement Team. The role is crucial in ensuring residents have a central role in shaping housing services. The successful candidate will develop and implement a comprehensive Resident Engagement Strategy, fostering meaningful involvement, co-production, and consultation, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Resident Engagement Team, including performance management, supervision, and budget oversight.
- Develop and deliver a compliant and effective Resident Engagement Strategy aligned with regulatory standards.
- Build strong relationships with tenants, residents, elected members, and key stakeholders to ensure meaningful engagement.
- Ensure resident feedback is captured, analysed, and used to drive improvements in service delivery and design.
- Promote innovative engagement methods to reach diverse and seldom-heard communities.

Requirements
Essential Experience Required
- Significant experience in resident engagement, co-design, and scrutiny, ideally within social housing or a regulated environment.
- Experience developing and delivering engagement strategies that influence service design and delivery.
- Proven experience managing teams, performance, budgets, and operational services.

Essential Qualifications Required
- Relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience in housing, community engagement, or a related field.
- CIH Level 5 qualification (or working towards / willingness to undertake).
Additional Information
- Subject to DBS check.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- We work on a bi-weekly schedule.
