Resident Liaison Officer / Tenant Liaison Officer

Location: Rochdale, Oldham & Middleton (Site Compound based in Rochdale, OL11 2DG)
Rate: £14.50 per hour PAYE
Contract: 20th September 2026 – 28th March 2027
DBS Required: Yes
Travel: Travel required across Rochdale, Oldham and Middleton. Mileage expenses will be reimbursed in line with company policy and must be evidenced to the line manager.

About the Role

We are seeking an organised and customer-focused Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to act as the key point of contact between residents, clients, contractors, and site teams on a range of property improvement and maintenance projects.

This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role where excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships are essential. You will help ensure residents are kept informed throughout works, while supporting site teams with appointments, communications, and project updates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for residents throughout planned works projects.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, residents, clients, and site teams.
  • Arrange and manage resident appointments and access requirements.
  • Keep residents informed of project schedules, progress updates, and any changes to planned works.
  • Produce and distribute resident communications, including letters, notices, and updates.
  • Maintain accurate records and update project trackers, databases, and documentation.
  • Resolve resident queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Attend site meetings as required and provide feedback from residents to operational teams.
  • Support project delivery by ensuring effective communication between all stakeholders.
  • Travel regularly between sites across Rochdale, Oldham, and Middleton.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer, Customer Liaison Officer, or in a similar customer-facing role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Experience managing appointments, records, and customer communications.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise a varied workload.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate records.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred due to travel requirements.
  • DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo a DBS check).
