We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Resident Services Manager to join a well-established Build to Rent development in Leeds on a temporary basis.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for someone who is confident taking ownership of a busy residential environment, managing competing priorities and delivering a consistently high standard of service to residents.
You will need to be someone who can work independently, follow established processes, communicate confidently and professionally, and take responsibility for seeing issues through to resolution.
Build to Rent experience would be advantageous, but we are also keen to hear from candidates with strong backgrounds in residential property, hospitality, hotels, concierge, front of house or customer service.
The Role
Working as part of the on-site Resident Services team, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent resident experience across a modern, co-living development.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Acting as a key point of contact for residents and providing a professional, responsive service.
- Building positive relationships with residents while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
- Handling resident enquiries, complaints and day-to-day issues confidently and efficiently.
- Taking ownership of issues from initial enquiry through to resolution, keeping residents updated along the way.
- Following established processes and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the development.
- Managing competing priorities and ensuring important tasks are followed up and completed.
- Maintaining accurate records and keeping systems and documentation up to date.
- Supporting property administration and day-to-day resident services.
- Working closely with contractors, suppliers and the wider on-site team.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and escalating issues appropriately when required.
- Supporting the smooth running of the development during a particularly busy period.
- Identifying issues proactively and taking action rather than waiting to be directed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
