Responsibilities
Make an impact
Resident Site Engineer, Derby. Working rotating 12-hour days and nights. Company benefits to include 25 days holiday plus statutory holiday, private healthcare and company contributory pension scheme.
The Role – Resident Maintenance Engineer
- Breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, to include cranes; conveyors; robots, bagging machines and autostore.
- To undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices.
- Prioritise system faults.
- To ensure quality of output at all times.
- To accurately record all work undertaken.
- Involvement in continuous improvement projects.
- Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.

What you need to succeed
- An apprentice trained Electrical Engineer or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of working with automated machinery is ideal, however it is not essential as training will be provided.
- Happy to work at heights.
- This is a customer facing role, so you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Experience of working with a CMMS system.
