Description

Priory Tudor House, located in Northamptonshire, is opening and we are seeking a Residential Addictions Service Manager for a full-time position (37.5 hours/week, on-site). The salary range is £55,000 - £65,000, depending on experience.

You will lead the launch of a new residential addiction service, shaping it from the ground up. This service is part of our therapy-led model of addiction treatment, focusing on clinical excellence and personalized recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day running of a therapy-led residential addictions service, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care and positive outcomes for residents.
  • Provide inspirational leadership to a multidisciplinary team, fostering a positive, supportive, and high-performing culture.
  • Oversee the operational and financial performance of the service, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and achievement of targets.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, clinical governance standards, and Priory policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referrers, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement by championing recovery-focused, evidence-based practice.

What you'll bring to the role

Our work is rewarding but challenging, requiring resilience and empathy. You’ll bring:

  • Experience in residential addiction, mental health, or dual-diagnosis services.
  • Strong understanding of substance misuse, recovery models, and trauma-informed care.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience managing risk, including safeguarding and complex mental health needs.
  • Good working knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., CQC) and quality improvement.
  • Confidence in managing day-to-day service operations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships.
  • A compassionate, non-judgemental approach aligned with recovery-focused care.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Professional registration (e.g., NMC, HCPC, Social Work England).
  • Experience in a therapy-led or non-medical treatment setting.
  • Experience working with Local Authorities.
