Residential Building Manager: Lead a Prestigious Development
Do you thrive on responsibility, keep a cool head under pressure, and take pride in a job done properly? We're recruiting a Residential Building Manager to take charge of the day-to-day running of a prestigious residential development. You'll be the person who keeps the building safe, well presented, and running smoothly, and who keeps residents informed every step of the way.
What you'll do
- Run all aspects of the property through our digital management system, keeping records accurate and up to date
- Communicate proactively with residents via the online portal, so they always know what's happening in their building
- Lead, mentor, and support an on-site team, including rotas, appraisals, and recruitment
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, from managing contractors and obtaining quotes to checking invoices and keeping disruption to a minimum
- Carry out regular inspections to ensure communal areas are safe, compliant, and immaculate
- Oversee fire, emergency lighting, and lift safety testing, and close out risk assessment actions
- Contribute to budgets, annual contract tenders, resident meetings, and quarterly reporting

What we're looking for
- Proven experience managing prestigious residential developments, or developments of a similar size and scope
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of developing and motivating a team
- Confidence in contractor management, including assessing and approving works
- Solid financial awareness, including reviewing budgets and keeping spend on track
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting on Teams
- Strong time management and prioritisation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with resident portals and property software (Dwellant and Qube are a plus, but not essential)
- Working towards or holding an IWFM, TPI, or equivalent qualification is highly advantageous
