Residential Building Surveyor – Prime UK Residential Portfolio (Remote)

Location: South Coast / Hampshire

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 + car allowance + bonus potential

The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded, independent surveying consultancy with an exceptional reputation across the UK residential market. Known for delivering premium, detailed surveys on high-value homes, this firm is continuing to expand due to sustained demand and a booming residential sector.

With the UK property market continuing to evolve and demand for high-quality Level 2 & Level 3 surveys increasing, there has never been a better time to position yourself within a business that sits firmly at the quality-led, non-corporate end of the market.

The Role

As a Residential Building Surveyor, you will:

  • Undertake Level 2 (Homebuyer) and bespoke Level 3 (Building) surveys across a tailored local patch
  • Inspect a diverse portfolio of character, period, and high-value residential properties
  • Deliver detailed, client-focused reports with clear, actionable advice
  • Build trusted relationships with private clients purchasing some of the UK’s most desirable homes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
