About the Role
Bright Futures Children's Care Ltd is looking for a Residential Care Practitioner to join our team at our residential home in Abbey Wood, London SE2 0BP. You will provide high-quality, trauma-informed care to children and young people, helping create a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment where they can thrive.
Location: Abbey Wood, London SE2 0BP
Pay: £12.71 - £14.00 per hour, depending on experience
Shifts: Day (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM) and Night (8:00 PM - 8:00 AM), minimum two 12-hour shifts per week

- Experience with children or young people, especially those with complex emotional or behavioural needs (preferred, not essential)
- Patience, empathy, and calmness under pressure
- Understanding of safeguarding, attachment, and trauma-informed practice
- Strong communication skills across young people, families, and professionals
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, or willingness to work towards it
- Full UK driving licence
- At least 1 year of experience in a children's home setting (required)
