Job Summary

Caudwell House is a welcoming residential and short break home located in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. We provide care for children with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and health needs. Our mission is to offer the best care and support, helping children have fun and reach their full potential.

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will build positive relationships with children and their families, ensuring they feel valued and supported. You will also provide personal and intimate care, administer medication, and carry out health care procedures. Full training will be provided to equip you for these responsibilities.

Required Skills And Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a care setting, particularly with children or individuals with disabilities.
  • Understanding of personal care needs and health care procedures.
  • Ability to follow care plans and guidelines accurately.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and families.

Additional Information

You will be required to work 2 out of 3 weekends, with additional pay for weekend, bank holiday, and evening shifts. The shifts are either 7am-2:30pm or 2-10pm of a rota basis. A full induction and ongoing training will be provided to support your development.
