Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Castle Eden. The Residential Childcare Worker will support young people in their daily routines, including personal care, education, leisure activities, and household tasks. Responsibilities include:

Qualifications
- Experience in Childcare and Working With Children, preferably in residential or similar care settings.
- Background in Social Services, with an understanding of safeguarding, care planning, and multi-agency working.
- Ability to deliver and engage in Training related to childcare, safeguarding, and behavior support.
- Skills in Event Planning to organize activities, outings, and structured programs for young people.
- Strong communication, de-escalation, and relationship-building skills with young people and colleagues.
- Basic IT and record-keeping skills for maintaining accurate care documentation.
- Relevant qualifications such as Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards this).
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
- Understanding of trauma-informed practice and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory care.
