Job Description

Location: Crystal Care Solutions - Spode

Position: Waking Nights - Residential Children's Worker

Type: Full Time

Shift System: 5:2 rolling 2 weeks

Contract: 35-37.5 hours plus overtime if required

Your Role

  • Build positive, respectful relationships with children and young people.
  • Support care plans, development goals, and emotional well-being.
  • Promote safeguarding, routines, and behavioural boundaries.
  • Engage young people in education, recreation, and daily life skills.
  • Act as a key worker and lead shifts where appropriate.
  • Maintain records and liaise with families and external professionals.

Required Criteria

  • Ability to maintain and develop positive relationships with children, professionals, and colleagues
  • Ability to act as a positive role model demonstrating honesty and integrity
  • Ability to work shifts including weekends and sleep-ins
  • Commitment to complete a Level 3 in Residential Childcare
  • Ability to commit to shift system which covers all days of the week over a 2-week period

Desired Criteria

  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare, or equivalent qualification

Contract Type: Full Time

Salary: From £13.85 Hourly to £14.84 Hourly
