Job Description: Residential Cleaner
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Residential Cleaner to join our team, providing high-quality cleaning services within residential apartment buildings.
This is a hands-on role covering the cleaning of communal areas, individual apartments, and end-of-tenancy properties. We are specifically looking for someone who has previous professional cleaning experience within residential buildings or apartment developments and understands the standards expected within a resident-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining communal areas throughout residential buildings
- Cleaning entrance areas, reception areas, corridors, staircases, and lifts
- Cleaning communal facilities and amenity spaces
- Carrying out scheduled apartment cleaning
- Completing detailed end-of-tenancy cleans
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
- Cleaning internal glass, mirrors, and other fixtures
- Emptying bins and maintaining waste areas where required
- Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns to the appropriate manager
- Ensuring cleaning equipment and products are used and stored safely
- Maintaining consistently high standards of presentation throughout the building
- Working respectfully and professionally around residents, visitors, and other members of the building team

Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must:
- Have previous professional cleaning experience within a residential building, apartment development, or similar residential environment
- Have experience cleaning communal areas
- Have a good understanding of professional cleaning standards
- Be confident carrying out detailed apartment and end-of-tenancy cleans
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to manage your workload effectively
- Be comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider building team
- Have a professional and courteous approach when interacting with residents
- Understand the importance of health and safety when using cleaning products and equipment
- Have the right to work in the UK
About You
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that cleanliness plays an important part in the overall experience of residents. You should be proactive and able to identify areas requiring attention without always needing to be instructed. You will be expected to maintain a consistently high standard and ensure that apartments and communal areas are presented professionally.

Previous experience in a residential apartment building is essential. Experience within build-to-rent, private residential developments, serviced apartments, student accommodation, or similar environments would be particularly beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: £13.60 per hour
Location: Wembley, London, UK
Working Hours: 20 / 40
Experience Required: Residential cleaning experience
