Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Opportunity
TSR Legal are delighted to be working with a well-established and highly respected Cardiff law firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Property Legal Assistant to support a Director across both residential and commercial property matters.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit, supportive team where you’ll work directly alongside an experienced Director, gaining exposure to a varied and interesting caseload while playing a key role in ensuring transactions progress efficiently from instruction through to completion.
The Role
You’ll provide high-quality administrative and legal support across a broad range of residential and commercial property transactions, becoming an integral part of the department.

Responsibilities Will Include
- Supporting the Director with a varied caseload of residential and commercial property matters.
- Preparing legal documents, contracts and correspondence.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties.
- Opening and closing files and ensuring compliance procedures are completed.
- Managing diaries, appointments and key transaction deadlines.
- Ordering searches, requesting redemption statements and dealing with Land Registry documentation.
- Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally.
- Assisting with post-completion matters and general file management.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working within residential property, commercial property, or a mixed property department.
- A solid understanding of property transactions and legal processes.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and client care skills.
- A proactive approach and the confidence to work closely with a senior fee earner.
- Experience using case management systems would be advantageous.
