Residential Conveyancer

Chepstow | Hybrid/Flexible Working Available

Salary

£35,000 - £50,000 DOE + Benefits

About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Residential Conveyancer to join a progressive and modern law firm with a strong reputation across South Wales, Bristol and the wider West Country.

This role would suit a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with 2+ years' PQE in residential property who is looking for a position offering autonomy, quality work, strong client exposure and genuine career progression.

Working as part of a supportive property team, you will manage your own caseload with the assistance of a dedicated Property Assistant who will support with opening files, preparing client care documentation, initial client liaison and administration.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
  • Handling:
    • Residential sales and purchases
    • Transfers of equity
    • Remortgages
  • Drafting contract packs and reviewing legal documentation.
  • Raising and responding to enquiries.
  • Preparing reports for clients.
  • Managing exchanges and completions.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and providing a high level of service.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the firm and contributing to the continued growth of the department.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer.
  • Minimum of 2 years' PQE within residential property.
  • Experienced in managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Organised, commercially aware and detail-focused.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach with the ability to use your own initiative.
  • Comfortable working in a modern, forward-thinking firm where client relationships and business development are encouraged.
